Yes, those large margins on the front seem like something of a drawback. On the other hand, they do make the phone instantly recognisable — prompting other people to ask you to show them the inside.

It may be a bit like the original notch on the iPhone X. It’s less than idea in some ways, but it did attract attention — for a bit, anyway, until nearly every other phone got one too! :)
