  3. I haven’t made any ‘appeal to authority’ fallacy — though it’s funny that you imply that I have, because I was expecting you to do just that! Merely asking if you are claiming to be a skilled economist does not amount to a claim that you can’t possibly be right because you are not a skilled economist. You seem to be dangerously close to using the ‘fallacy fallacy’ — by making a false claim that someone else has used a fallacy because it ‘sounds a bit’ like they have and because you wish to distract from the weaknesses of your own ‘arguments’! :)
