“there was hardly call for that link to basic econ.”

I wasn’t trying to be insulting. I was just trying to be helpful, by suggesting some reading, in case you wanted to learn more about Economics.

Are you suggesting your understanding of Economics is already too ‘advanced’ for an ‘Introduction to Economics’ to be of any use to you?

I politely suggest that the evidence so far suggests that’s unlikely. But if you think it would be beneath you to read an ‘Introduction to Economics,’ that’s your call.

My honest opinion, based on the evidence I’ve seen, is that you probably have a greatly exaggerated idea of how well you understand Economics. As I say; I’m not trying to be insulting. It’s a problem a lot of people have. I just say it in case you might be open-minded enough to accept that I might be right — and that it might be a good idea for you to try to rectify that situation.

I hope you understand.
