It seems to me that if you feel uncomfortable ‘sharing a space’ with someone simply because they are male, that sounds an awful lot like sexism. And if you had a problem ‘sharing a space’ with someone simply because they were black, that would sound an awful lot like racism.

I don’t know if you are in favour of ‘sex segregated spaces.’ If so, perhaps you have good reasons or perhaps you don’t. In this particular example, however, this was not a ‘sex segregated space.’ This was a changing facility that was supposed to be open to people of any sex or gender.
