I have no problem at all with any female being female.

But if a male ("assigned male at birth") says they are female, that could cause confusion. If a male goes on a dating website and says they are female, this could waste a lot of people's time, and could lead to some very unpleasant situations, and even to accusations of non-consensual sex.

If official documents say that a male is female, that could also lead to confusion. But I don't think it should be necessary for passports and driving licences to state a person's sex. Rules on driving and on entering/leaving a country should be the same for everyone, regardless of their sex.

So will you join me in campaigning for information about a person's sex to be removed from passports and driving licences?
