When I refer to the fundamentals of Economics, I’m not talking about alleged ‘economic facts.’ I’m talking about understanding the fundamental tools, skills, methods and perspectives that an economist uses to to try to understand the world. As my old Economics teacher used to say: ‘Economics is a set of skills, not a body of knowledge.’
