Hi Isaiah! I would say that Basic Income gives people the chance to take time away from full-time work, so that they can take advantage of educational and training opportunities. Or they might explore the idea of starting their own business.

And I wouldn’t say Basic Income would be a sign that markets have failed. Markets operate within the rules that we set for them. We’re just setting better rules.
