Excellent aims! And you are right on the central problem: We have the resources we need, but they’re not being used very well and that is largely the result of how those resources are distributed.
I’m not sold on the need for a cryptocurrency to solve the problem, however — or any need for a fundamentally new currency or money-creation system. The arguments I’ve seen so far on these ideas are based on flawed economics — usually from people with excellent intentions, who are not, however, trained in Economics. Typically they get themselves confused between the issue of how money is ‘created’ and the issue of how it is circulated. I don’t dismiss their ideas out of hand, but I do encourage them to take a little time out to better acquaint themselves with some fundamental Economics. :)
